The Experience

Located in a mild four season climate with 300+ days of sun a year, private but not remote Water's Edge Ranch is the premiere goose and duck watching and hunting area in the Klamath lakes Pacific Flyway area.

The ranch also has it's own resident pelican flock and features wildlife ponds among the green pastures that provide food and shelter for migrating waterfowl, snowy egrets and blue herons.

For the wildlife enthusiast and conversationalist, Upper Klamath Lake at any season is a voyage of never-ending discovery. Year to year and season to season the dynamic ebb and flow of wildlife is a process of constant change. Over 430 wildlife species have been observed in the Klamath lake area including 262 species of birds. Fall and spring bring the drama of one to three million ducks, geese and swans using refuge wetlands as a vital stopover in their annual migrations. Winter bald eagle numbers peak in mid February with Basin populations ranking as the largest recorded in the contiguous United States. Thousands of wetland nesting birds also raise their young on the six Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuges.

Life is good here...
